Delaware Snipers join the Pro Basketball Association

Wilmington, Delaware – The Pro Basketball Association announced on Monday that the Delaware Snipers had been awarded a franchise for the 2021 PBA Spring-Summer Season. Team owner and coach Emily Tambussi helped guide the team through their first regular season in minor league basketball as they went undefeated at 10-0. They’re ready to take their strong start and bring the same level of intensity to the PBA this season.

“Emily and everyone with the Delaware Snipers are tremendous to work with. Their team on the court won every game played in the ABA this past season and Emily and company off the court are equally as successful. Isiah Walker of Walker League fame, the NE Stars and Stripes, and Pennsylvania Peacemakers is largely to credit with identifying another strong club that adds to what we’re doing with the PBA… a lot of the credit for this goes to him and his efforts there. Emily is a pleasure and we’re building something pretty special in the Northeast Division and Nationally in the PBA.” Chris Terrell – PBA Commissioner
