Three teams had appearances in the news with Southwest Florida Blazers being featured on ABC-7, Dothan Snipers were also on ABC, and Chattanooga Spades were shown on Fox. Darrell White, Wolf Rabb, Cornelius Thomas and Jason Siples were players of the week. The aforementioned Blazers beat Montgomery Knights 89-73. DFW Just Hoops needed overtime to hold off BLTN 121-120. The F.I.R.M. in a battle of unbeaten beat crosstown rival Metroplex Lightning 114-89. Georgia Vipers also remain undefeated, needing overtime, but winning over Chattanooga Spades 99-96. Dothan Snipers defeated Louisiana Kingdom Riders 93-77 and New York Empire beat D.L.S. Rockets 93-88 in a great game. In the Pacific Northwest, the PNW Vets held their media day as players and coaches were announced.
